What will the future behold?

Initially, once the subject of sex robots became introduced, it was considered as just simply another sex toy on the market, however just more technologically advanced. As Artificial Intelligence and robotics become more advanced, some have claimed that robots designed for love and sex are reaching the purpose of reality.

 
Futurist Ian Pearson declared that “It very quickly moves to being fashionable, and not long after that, anyone not doing it is the dinosaur.” Pearson has made numerous predictions for what is to happen in the future concerning relationships with robots, including how the development of emotional and casual sex will be of the norm by 2030 and how sex between humans and robots will ultimately overtake human-human sex by 2050. However, will this mean an end to human love? "A lot of people will still have reservations about sex with robots at first but gradually as they get used to them, as the AI and mechanical behaviour and their feel improves, and they start to become friends with strong emotional bonds, that squeamishness will gradually evaporate,” says Pearson in the report released in partnership with leading UK sex toy shop, Bondara. David Levy, author of Love and Sex with Robots additionally advocates that by 2050, marriage between humans and robots will be normalized.

In time, sex robots will become physically identical to women, responsive to all senses, and will have the abilities to converse and imitate human emotions.
